After 3 years of trying different diets, I came up to the conclusion that no extra kilograms can be lost permanently if I don’t adopt a healthy lifestyle. Mostly every diet I tried worked perfectly until the day I was under a lot of pressure (because of work or studies mainly) and I used food to cope. But, being most of the time on a diet for the last 3 years, made me read a lot about nutrition and how our bodies react to food, to food restrictions and how our brains play a huge role in all that. Good morning 🙂
it’s 8 a.m. and I am already sitting at my desk writing this article. I woke up this morning at 6 a.m., worked out had a shower and breakfast and now time to work. For some of you, that may sound familiar and a part of your daily routine. But I am not a morning person.
It has been a while and I haven’t been that committed to this blog. Maybe being busy or being sick are good excuses to explain that. But the truth is that I was (am) very intimidated by all the rules that I am supposed to follow when blogging. I have been reading a lot of articles about how to blog, how to write online and all the dos and don’ts.
today I want to tell you about my running plan that I have designed for myself before I was able to run for 30 minutes non-stop.
First of all, Disclaimer: I am not a professional athlete or a coach. Everything in this article is based on my personal experience. I share it with you for inspiration and motivation. A professional opinion is highly recommended.
I will go directly to the point this time without any introductions because I feel like there is a stream of words in my head and I need to write it down before it’s gone. I’ve already been holding it the whole day.
I remember once in high school, my math teacher said: “If you think that you understand something that you can’t demonstrate, that means that you don’t really understand it“.
I am really happy today to write this post because it’s the first time since I launched my blog that I have the time (and the courage) to publish twice the same day. I even couldn’t honor my commitment to post once a week lately. So you can understand why I feel that happy.
One of the many things that I want to accomplish before I am 30 is to take part in a local Marathon. The problem is, I used to hate running. Yes! “used to” until one day, I was probably hit by the thunder, put the comfiest shoes that I had (of course back then I didn’t have runners) and went for a run without any warming up or an adequate preparation.
