Good morning 🙂
it’s 8 a.m. and I am already sitting at my desk writing this article. I woke up this morning at 6 a.m., worked out had a shower and breakfast and now time to work. For some of you, that may sound familiar and a part of your daily routine. But I am not a morning person.
Well, this is not the first time I wake up at 6 in the morning or even earlier. But what I usually do in these cases is that I would do very calm activities. Like reading or listening to music or even sleeping again if I am traveling somewhere and someone else is driving. So basically I would do anything to allow a smooth transition from sleeping mode to waking up mode. That would take sometimes 1 to 3 hours!!!!
The change that I am trying to make this week is part of my goal of establishing a healthy lifestyle. I started working on this goal since the 1st of January and every week I try to build a new healthy habit. But, what I found a little bit difficult to stick to are both my work out and my meditation sessions. Usually, I try to do them after work, but once I get out of the office, if not too late already, I would go grocery shopping or meeting friends or family. After that, I just hope I still have enough energy and time to workout or meditate.
By the time I am typing these words, I am already on my second day of this new habit ^^ and I already feel great. What I enjoy the most for the moment is that at this time of the day I don’t have to worry anymore about the workout routine of the day because it’s already done and I will have a more flexible timetable for my afternoons and evenings.
What about you? Are you a morning person or a night person? What you usually do when you wake up? What’s your secret to commit to your workout? Use the comment box below to answer 😉
See you soon :))))))
